"Mr Isaac Spencer has advised with me as to your conduct in having evicted him from a farm at New Road Side. It appears that my client took the farm as tenant through W. Smith Surveyor of Bradford and that after spending considerable sums of money? between 1st Feb and 17th May? instant on the land and getting into good condition you claimed to be ? ------- and ------- my clients ------- your alleging that he had ? sunfly acted as your agent or knaul.
