: Can anyone put me in touch with relatives of "Ray" Hinchliffe, born Liverpool 10/6/1894, disappeared with the millionairess daughter of Lord Inchcape 13/3/1928 while attempting to fly the Atlantic from East to West.

: Ray was a WW1 fighter ace with 10 squadron Royal Naval Air Service and 210 squadron RAF. After the war he flew for KLM.

: I desperately need a photograph of Ray, preferably taken during WW1 for historical research that I have been carrying out on the squadrons he served with.

My father, Arend Priester, died almost four years ago. He had an uncle named Andre Priester who was the Vice President, Technical Operations of Pan American Airlines. Andre Priester died in December 1955 in Paris while chairing a technical committee meeting of IATA. I found some papers of my father's uncle among my father's possessions. There was an old newspaper clipping with a picture of Walter Hinchliff and Elsie Mackay. Through an obituary in KLM's employee newspaper, I have learned that Walter Hinchliff was Andre Priester's flying instructor.

Would you be interested in a copy of this newspaper clipping?
