Henchliffes in Derby

Hi
It is fantastic to find a site with the surname of my ancestors!
I am descended from the Henchliffes (the earlier spellings tends to be variations on Hinchliffe) of Mackworth, Derbyshire. It's an uncommon name in our corner of the county. From my research, we appear to have been living here since the early 1600s. Why are we here? Are there any Derby Henchliffes ou there?
